NONA particularly caused quite a stir in the punk rock world last year with the release of their debut album Through The Head (due for a re-release shortly) whereas I'd already got slightly hot and bothered over Crow Bait's debut single back at the tail end of 2011. NONA's approach is relatively simple with the trio offering up some bright and breezy tracks which are most notably based around Mimi Gallagher's youthful vocals and fuzzy, pop-punk guitar sound. That's not to ignore the input of bassist Nick Harris and drummer Pat Ware, but it's clearly Gallagher who.
