Third album from the lunatic and highly-talented vaudeville act once resident on UK TV's "Do Not Adjust Your Set". They earned their wings packing out London pub gigs five nights a week. Their skills further honed by rubbing shoulders on the TV show with future 'Python' members Idle, Jones and Palin.Frank Zappa, tongue in cheek, once raised the question "Does humor belong in music?". This band proved it does. Their hit single "I'm The Urban Spaceman", produced by Paul McCartney & Gus Dudgeon a year earlier, helped put them on the map. It's also the closing track on side one of this release. "I'm the Urban Spaceman baby, I've got speed. I've got everything you need..."Every track on "Tadpoles" is packed with talented musicianship and a Monster Mash of fun. If you're not smiling broadly at the end, then you deserve to have holes in your string vest...
