Redirected from Low Light (Pearl Jam song)). Yield is the fifth studio album by the American alternative rock band Pearl Jam, released on February 3, 1998. Following a short promotional tour for its previous album, No Code (1996), Pearl Jam recorded Yield throughout 1997 at Studio Litho and Studio X in Seattle, Washington.
In retrospect, Pearl Jam's Yield is viewed as a positive rebound for the band, both creatively and commercially. While it did not reach the sales heights of the band's first three albums, it did debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart and went on to be certified platinum by the RIAA. But more importantly for the band's longevity, the Yield sessions reset the way in which Pearl Jam worked and laid the groundwork for fruitful creative ventures to come. In the long run, we stayed around," said Vedder. The mere fact that we survived made us stronger.

Definitely their best work since Vs. in my humble opinion. Anyway, I thought I'd do the Internet community a favor and transcribe the chords for the album. Note to beginners: Pearl Jam, like nearly all rock bands, uses the minor pentatonic scale for almost all of their solos. If you don't know this scale, commit it to memory. You'll be amazed at how much mileage you can get out of this one pattern

There remain a few weird flourishes scattered throughout the album, from the spoken word "Push Me, Pull Me" to the untitled Eastern instrumental bonus track, but overall, Yield is the most direct record the group has made since Ten. That doesn't mean it's the best.
Pearl Jam – Yield Album tab. This is the most rocking song on the album. It's good to hear Eddie wail again. He's a good singer but a better screamer.
