Ernie Nowlin and his group, the Blue Shadow Boys, were a St. Louis, MO-based outfit, though Nowlin himself hailed from Sikeston, MO. His catchy "Tally Ho," released through Starday and featuring a driving beat and rippling lead guitar, came along in 1957, a little too late to get him the airplay or the success he sought.
