Symphony is the ninth studio album from English soprano singer Sarah Brightman. This classical crossover album is a contrast to her previous collaboration with producer Frank Peterson, 2003's Harem; using a gothic influence instead of a Middle Eastern feel. The single "Running" was the IAAF's Green Project Charity song, which Brightman performed at their 2007 Championships opening ceremonies in Ōsaka, Japan.
In addition to her new album, Sarah Brightman announced her world tour, Hymn: Sarah Brightman In Concert, which will begin in South America in November 2018 and include 125 shows across five continents throughout 2019. The North American dates of the tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off in January 2019 and tickets for the general public will go on sale beginning Friday, September 21 at 10:00am local time at HERE. Fanclub and forum community members can purchase tickets before the general public starting today at 2:00pm local time HERE
Symphony, and A Winter Symphony (both 2008). In early 2016, Peterson began talking to Brightman about making a new album. He kept calling me and saying, ‘Look, it’s time,’ she recalls. Peterson reminded Brightman that audiences flocked to her because of the beauty in her voice and that, after mounting a technically complex tour filled with elaborate visuals and effects behind the science-minded Dreamchaser, a return to something simpler in nature, something spiritual and emotionally connected, might be just the thing to ease the inertia she was feeling. I said, ‘Okay, you went the science route, let’s try something different,’ Peterson says. It wasn’t calculated in any way; it simply felt right to both of us.
Bestselling soprano Sarah Brightman will release her 15th full-length album Hymn on 9 November, accompanied by a major tour and partnership with Swarovski. Brightman began work on Hymn in 2016 with her longtime r Frank Peterson, who has overseen eight of Brightman’s album projects. The first of these was 1993’s Dive, and they went on to work together on Fly in 1995, Timeless (Time To Say Goodbye) (1997) Eden (1998]) La Luna (2000]) Harem (2003) and 2008’s Symphony and Winter Symphony. The spiritually-themed Hymn features orchestrated, choir-based songs that were recorded over the past two years in Hamburg, Miami, London, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York and Budapest. The track ‘Hymn’ itself is Brightman’s reading of the track.

Sarah Brightman is making an astronomical landing with her fifteenth studio album Hymn. After spending months in Russia training for a trip to outer space that she postponed in 2015, Brightman, 58, opened up to PEOPLE exclusively about the creation of her newest album and the planning stages of her tour. I needed to earth myself, says the soprano singer. I said I would like to do an album of songs which are full of light, full of hope. Songs that remind me of when I felt safe and familiar with things in my childhood when I sang in my church
