This is a brilliant mix album and very underrated. Seamless mix of techno, jazz, beats and drum & bass.. and drizzled with A.R.T. classics by Photek, Carl Craig, Black Dog, Stasis and Kirk himself... it's also just reminded me quite how great 'Solina' by the Jedi Knights is!
Ideal Sunday afternoon listening this one. The combination of fairly laid back D&B and techno with selected Jazz tracks works really well. Nothing sounds out of place. Highly recommended.
Kirk Degiorgio shows a highly developed view on music on this mix cd, making connections that go beyond bpm or style barriers. This does not only make sure it's an exciting musical journey, but it also gives you some great suggestions for broadening your horizon if you're familiar with only some of the stuff on this cd. Recommended!
