Everynight Fire Works is the debut album by American emo band Hey Mercedes. It is the first full-length album recorded by Bob Nanna after the dissolution of his previous band, Braid. In August 2002, the band went on the Vagrant America arena tour, alongside other Vagrant Records bands. All music composed by Hey Mercedes. The album was recorded at Pachyderm Studio with: Hey Mercedes. Bob Nanna – lead vocals, guitar. Damon Atkinson – drums. Mark Dawursk – vocals, guitar. Todd Bell – vocals, bass.
Everynight Fire Works, originally released by Vagrant Records in October 2001, will be reissued as a double LP in summer 2016. Remastered by JJ Golden (Sunny Day Real Estate, Soundgarden), the album will be accompanied by the band’s Weekend EP, a companion piece originally released in 2002 that has never been released on vinyl before.
