Here & Now (LP, Album).
Drummer Steve Gadd's unit (which also features keyboardist Richard Tee, guitarist Cornell Dupree and bassist Eddie Gomez) plays appealing R&B/jazz instrumentals that groove lightly and feature some worthy solos.
With the addition of a horn section arranged by David Matthews, the group plays Bob Dylan's "Watching the River Flow," and Wilton Felder's "Way Back Home," a medley of "Honky Tonk" and "I Can't Stop Loving You," and some basic band originals that can appeal to a wide audience.
The Gang's All Here is the second studio album released by American Celtic punk band the Dropkick Murphys. It is their first album with Al Barr (ex-vocalist for The Bruisers) who replaced founding singer Mike McColgan in 1998 after he left the band to become a firefighter, and later form his own Punk Rock band Street Dogs. With Barr, the band released their first 7" EP together, 1998's "Curse of a Fallen Soul" prior to recording the album.
