Outside (subtitled The Nathan Adler Diaries: A Hyper-cycle) is the nineteenth studio album by English recording artist David Bowie, released on 25 September 1995 by Arista Records. It marked Bowie's reunion with Brian Eno, whom he had worked with among others on his Berlin Trilogy in the 1970s. Outside centres on the characters of a dystopian world on the eve of the 21st century.
David Bowie is the self-titled debut studio album by English musician David Bowie, released on 1 June 1967, on Deram Records. Its style and content bears little overt resemblance to the type of music that he was later known for, such as the folk rock influenced "Space Oddity" or the glam rock of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
David Bowie is the second studio album by the English musician David Bowie, released under that title by Philips in the UK, and as Man of Words/Man of Music by Mercury in the US, on 14 November 1969. It was reissued in 1972 by RCA Records as Space Oddity (the title of the opening track, which had reached No. 5 in the UK Singles Chart). Space Oddity was the name used for CD releases of the album in 1984, 1990 and 1999, but it reverted to the original, eponymous title for 2009 and 2015 reissues.
Produced by Brian Eno & David Bowie. Funny how secrets travel I'd start to believe If I were to bleed Thin skies, the man chains his hands held high Cruise me blond Cruise me babe A blond belief beyond beyond beyond No return No return I'm deranged Deranged down down down I'm deranged down down down So cruise me babe cruise me baby. And the rain sets in It's the angel-man I'm deranged Cruise me cruise me cruise me babe
I'm Deranged (оригинал David Bowie). Я сошёл с ума (перевод Алекс). Funny how secrets travel. Be real deranged Salaam. Сойди с ума по-настоящему, салам, Before we reel. Пока мы ещё держимся на ногах.
Low is the Bowie album that a lot of my friends would call number one, and I could easily agree with them. It’s the giant experimental leap into unknown territory. There are really no comparisons to the moment David Bowie, one of the world’s most famous pop musicians, decided to make a moody, difficult set of droning dystopian sound sculptures, half of which barely feature his signature instrument, his voice. But David Bowie already did that; he was ready for something new. The New Day showed the first sparks of this drive, but it was hamstrung by its allegiance to its predecessors. Not so here: Blackstar has no obvious forebear in the entire Bowie catalogue. And then there’s Through These Architects Eyes, where his vocal performance is so committed.
