In 2008, Ament released his first solo album, Tone. A second solo album, While My Heart Beats, followed in 2012. In 2018, he released his third solo album, Heaven/Hell Contents. Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament has released his third solo album this month titled Heaven/Hell. The 11-song LP was recorded between June and October of 2017 by John Burton and Josh Evans at Horseback Ridge, Litho, Studio X and Warehouse Studio. The Devil You Know (Heaven & Hell album). The Devil You Know is the only studio album from heavy metal band Heaven & Hell; the members had previously recorded as a group in an earlier line-up of Black Sabbath. The Devil You Know was Ronnie James Dio's final studio appearance prior to his death in May 2010. The album's US import was released in Japan on 24 April 2009, four days earlier than its original due date of 28 April.
